While this is an operation to terminate a single **Maintenance Plan Instance**, there is another operation that can be used to terminate multiple **Maintenance Plan Instances**, accessible through the **Maintenance Plan** page. For more information, see [[user-guide-terminate-maintenance-plan-instances]]. ## Setup No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction. ## Preconditions * The **Maintenance Plan Instance** exists in the system and is in Active or Created state. ## Sequence of Steps The Terminate Maintenance Plan Instance wizard can be called from the **Maintenance Plan Instance** page within the Business Data Group. ### Step 1: General Data 1. Select **Terminate** to perform the operation. All generic/smart table rows that reference the current object will not be removed. For more information, see [[user-guide-terminate-and-unterminate]]. !!! warning Maintenance Plan Instance objects can not be unterminated.
