Create Map#

🔒 Map.Create

Overview#

This operation is used to create a Map, i.e., to define a set of desired characteristics of a Map object.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Map name must be unique.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: General Data#

  1. Enter the name.
  2. Optionally, enter the description.
  3. Select the Map Definition on which the Map will be based.
  4. Optionally, select a Step to provide context for the Map.
  5. Optionally, select a Resource to provide context for the Map.

Step 2: Layers#

In this step, it's possible to upload one G85 file per layer. If no file is uploaded, the system will initialize each layer with the default value for the layer.

Select Create to complete the operation and the new Map will be created.
