Receive Material Transfer#

MaterialTransfer.Receive

Overview#

This operation is used to receive a Material Transfer which has been previously sent.

Setup#

• In order for the Receive Material Transfer to be fully functional, two customizations must be deployed in Critical Manufacturing's installation:
• To resolve the Material's Flow Path where Material Transfer of TransferMaterial mode should be received in the Destination Facility.
• To resolve the Materials from the Destination Facility to where Inventory is placed for TransferInventory and ConsumeInventory modes.

Preconditions#

• The Material Transfer's universal state is Active and system state is InTransport.
• The Material Transfer's TransferMode must be TransferInventory Or TransferMaterial.
• The Facility, Area and Step where the Materials will be received must be the same for all Material Transfer Materials and must match the Material Transfer's ToFacility.
• Depending on the MaterialTransferAllowedPickupMode:
  • If Any: any user can perform this use case (no restrictions).
  • If Requester: current employee must match the RequestedBy.
  • If CostCenterEmployee: the CostCenter of the current employee must match the CostCenter of the Material Transfer.
  • If AreaEmployee: the Area of the current employee must match the ToArea of the Material Transfer.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: Materials#

1. Review the Material Transfer's information, namely the Material quantities and details.
2. Optionally, enter a location for the Material Transfer.
3. Optionally, enter a comment.
4. When pressing Receive, a login screen wil be displayed and the employee receiving the Material must sign-in, by providing a username and password.
5. Press Receive to complete the transaction.
