Remove Material from Container#

Overview#

This operation is used to remove a Material from a Container.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Material is Active and it is associated with a Container.
  • The Material is not In Transit.
  • The System State of the Container is Available.
  • The Position Unit Type of the Container must be Material.
  • The Material being removed from the Container cannot have the property Resource Association Type set to Related Container.
  • The Container Resource Association Type cannot be Related Material.
  • If the Top Most Material is associated with a Resource and its Position Unit Type is Container:
    • The Container Resource Association Type must be Related Material.
    • The Container being removed cannot be the last Container associated with the Resource for any of the Top Most Materials associated with the current Resource for all the Materials contained in the Container.

Sequence of Steps#

  1. Verify the Material and Container information.
  2. Optionally, enter a comment.
  3. Press Remove to complete the operation.
