# Reset Floor Life Counter

## Overview

This operation is used to reset the value for the Floor Life of a **Material**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* **Material** exists and it is in the *Active* state;
* Material Floor Life Counter *State* is set to *Stopped*;
* The Floor Life Remaining Hours field is set in the **Material**;

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1

1. Verify the **Material** information and click on **Reset** to complete the transaction.

!!! warning
	The value for the Floor Life of the Material will be set according to the defined value for the Floor Life Remaining Hours related to the Material and Product or Manufacturer combinations. If the *Moisture Sensitivity Level* is not defined or can not be calculated, an error will be returned.
