# Reset Material Rework Counters

:lock: Material.**ResetMaterialReworkCounters**

## Overview

This transaction is used to reset the **Material** rework counter information. This is useful in cases where the **Material** rework limits are no longer relevant, for example in Merge operations, and you want to prevent system limitations.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* **Material** exists, is Active, and is not a Template.
* **Material** has at least one **Material** rework information record.

## Sequence Of Steps

1. Select the **Material** for which you need to reset the counters.
2. Go to the **Holds/Off-Flows/Reworks** section, and select the **Rework Counters** tab:

3. Select the **Reset Counters** button.
4. In the wizard, enter a comment if needed:

5. Select **Reset** to complete the operation.

    All the information will be reset and the Rework Counters tab will be emptied.
