# Retrieve Material

## Overview

This operation is used to retrieve a **Material** from a storage **Resource**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Material** exists and is active.
* The **Material** is *In Store*.

## Sequence of Steps

1. If performed from the **Material** page, confirm the information for the single **Material** to retrieve. If performed from the **Resource** page, select **Materials** to be retrieved by checking the respective check box.
2. Press **Retrieve** to complete the transaction.
