Seal Material#

🔒 Material.Seal

Overview#

This operation is used to seal the Floor Life for a Material. Once sealed, the Remaining Floor Time remains constant.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the operation.

Preconditions#

  • Material exists and it is Active.
  • The Material Floor Life is not already sealed.
  • Material Floor Life Counter State is set to Stopped or Running.
  • The Remaining Floor Time field is set in the Material.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1#

  1. Verify the Material information and select Seal to complete the operation.

Note

To unseal a Material, use the Start Floor Life Counter operation.

Info

If the Step where the Material is currently placed has the Print Material Labels Automatically property set to true, that information will be displayed on the bottom section of the wizard.
