# Start Floor Life Counter

## Overview

This operation is used to start or resume a Floor Life counter on a **Material**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the operation.

## Preconditions

* **Material** exists and it is Active.
* Material Floor Life Counter State is set to Stopped.
* The Floor Life Remaining Hours field is set in the **Material**.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1

1. Verify the **Material** information and select **Start** to complete the operation.
