# Synchronize Map Quantity

## Overview

This operation is used to synchronize the **Material** quantity with the **Map** quantity.

## Setup

No setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Material** exists and is *Active*.
* The **Map** is currently associated with the **Material**.
* The selected **Map** default layer is either of Loss or Bin type and it is the current *Master Map*.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Details

1. Open the **Maps** tab and select the desired **Map** from the list, by clicking on its line.
2. Click **Synchronize** and confirm the **Map** information.
3. Optionally,  enter a comment.
4. Press **Synchronize** to complete the transaction.
