# Track-Out Sub-Material

## Overview

This operation is used to track out a Sub-Material. A track-out means that the Material has completed processing at a given Resource.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Material** exists and it is *Active*.
* The **Material** is not *OnHold* and not *InTransit*.
* The **Material** is *In Process*.
* The **Resource** from which the *Sub-Material* is being tracked out is the current **Resource**.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Resource State

1. Select the **Sub-Material** and click on the **Track-In** button.
2. Verify the **Resource** details and define the *Resource State*.
3. Define a *Reason*.
4. Click **Track-Out** to complete the transaction.
