Pick Pick List#

🔒 PickList.Pick

🔒 PickList.PickBySelection

Overview#

This operation is used to pick the items of a Pick List. Picking is considered to be a long running operation, so items can be picked separately.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions.

Preconditions#

  • The Pick List must be Active.
  • The Pick List system state must be Open or In Progress.
  • If there is an owner defined for the Pick List, the current Employee must match that owner.

Sequence of Steps#

  1. Select a Pick List that follows the criteria for picking and press the Pick button.
  2. Select or scan each of the items in the list and mark them as picked. Depending on the role and the security features associated to the current user, the confirmation can be made through selection or through scanning of each individual item.
  3. If the item is of Material type, the Material is already selected and the item will be confirmed. However, if the item is of ProductQuantity type, individual Materials will have to be created until the Product quantity is matched. Pressing the button will add another Material, with an automatically generated name. Pressing the button will remove the Material. For each added Material, selecting it will open the details panel for the Material, where all editable main properties for the Material can be edited, including the proper Primary Quantity that will be a part of the Transfer Order item. When the full quantity is complete, the item can be confirmed.
  4. Press the Pick button to complete the operation.
