Unpick Pick List Items#

Overview#

This operation is used to unpick some or all Pick List Items which have been picked. Some of the possible reasons for unpicking a Pick List are:

  • The Material has meanwhile expired
  • The user wants to return (unpick) a Material that has been picked for some reason (e.g.: Material is damaged)

Note

Items that are unpicked are stored back in their original storage location and storage bin.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions.

Preconditions#

  • The Pick List must be Active.
  • The Pick List system state must be Open, In Progress or Picked.

Sequence of Steps#

  1. Select a Pick List that follows the criteria for picking and press the Unpick button.
  2. Select or scan each of the items in the list and mark them as unpicked. Depending on the role and the security features associated to the current user, the confirmation can be made through selection or through scanning of each individual item.
  3. Press the Unpick button to complete the operation.
