# Unpick Pick List Items

## Overview

This operation is used to unpick some or all **Pick List** Items which have been picked. Some of the possible reasons for unpicking a **Pick List** are:

* The **Material** has meanwhile expired
* The user wants to return (unpick) a Material that has been picked for some reason (e.g.: Material is damaged)

	Items that are unpicked are stored back in their original storage location and storage bin.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions.

## Preconditions

* The **Pick List** must be Active.
* The **Pick List** system state must be *Open*, *In Progress* or *Picked*.

## Sequence of Steps

1. Select a **Pick List** that follows the criteria for picking and press the **Unpick** button.
2. Select or scan each of the items in the list and mark them as unpicked. Depending on the role and the security features associated to the current user, the confirmation can be made through selection or through scanning of each individual item.
3. Press the **Unpick** button to complete the operation.
