Manage Plan Excluded Material Types#

Overview#

This operation is used to manage the Material types that are not to be considered in the actual volume count for the Plan.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The Plan exists in the system and is Active.
• The Plan is an Effective Plan and is not a Plan Scenario.

Sequence of Steps#

The Manage Plan Excluded Material Types operation can be called from the Plan page within the Business Data Group, scrolling to the Excluded Material Types section in the main Plan page. In the wizard:

1. Select all Material types that should be excluded from volume calculations. Add as many Material types as desired (press to add and to remove), specifying for each item the Material type.
2. Press Update to complete the transaction.
