--- alias: user-guide-manage-plan-steps tags: - scheduling description: "Manage Plan Steps allows editing milestones within a plan’s volume counting process" --- # Manage Plan Steps :lock: Plan.**Edit** ## Overview This operation is used to manage the **Plan Steps** that define the milestones for the counting of the actual volumes in the **Plan**. ## Setup No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction. ## Preconditions * The **Plan** exists in the system and is Active. * The **Plan** is an Effective Plan and is not a **Plan Scenario**. ## Sequence of Steps The Manage Plan Steps operation can be called from the **Plan** page within the Business Data Group, scrolling to the Volume Counting Steps section in the main **Plan** page. In the wizard: 1. Add as many **Steps** as desired (press :material-plus: to add and :material-trash-can: to remove), specifying for each item: * The **Facility** from which the **Step** will be selected. The **Facility** will be automatically filled-in depending on the manufacturing level selected in the first panel. * The **Step**, selected from the list of **Steps** available in the manufacturing level selected for the **Plan**. * Optionally specify a logical **FlowPath** for the **Step** so that only **Materials** with this logical **FlowPath** may be considered. 2.
