# Create Plan Scenario

## Overview

This operation is used to release a **Plan Scenario**, taking the information of a **Plan** as a base for the configurations that will be the integral part of its fulfillment. A template can also be created using a similar procedure and there is also the possibility of using a template to create the new object as well. This selection can be done in the main entity menu.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* A **Plan** exists in the system and is Active.

## Sequence of Steps

You can create a **Plan Scenario** from the **Create Plan Scenario** button located on the **Plan** page, either on the top ribbon or the Plan Scenarios page section.

### Step 1: General Data

1. Provide a name for the **Plan Scenario**.
2. Optionally, provide a description of the **Plan Scenario**.
3. Select **Create** to complete the operation.
