# Printers and PrinterTypes

In Critical Manufacturing, the actual printing of a **Printable Document** is performed on the Critical Manufacturing Application Server, not in the client PCs. Therefore, all printers must be connected to the network, accessible and installed on the Critical Manufacturing Application Server.
