Overview#

This operation is used to alter Material Logistics definitions for this Product.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The Material Logistics module is properly licensed in the system.
• The Product exists and it is Active.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: Manage Material Logistics#

If the Material Logistics module is properly licensed in the system, the Material Logistics tab will be enabled on the right-hand sidebar and you will be able to define the Product Material Logistics information. Navigating to this section will scroll the page to the Material Logistics section and the Manage Material Logistics wizard can be opened by pressing the Manage button.

1. Specify if the current Product is enabled for Material Logistics. Setting the flag will open up further configuration options.
2. Select if the Product can be split for picking operations.
3. Specify the default request quantity for Material Logistics.
4. Define the Consumption Scrap (in percentage) for this Product.
5. Define the Additional Consumption Quantity (in the same default unit defined for the Product) for this Product.
