Manage Unit Conversion Factors#

Overview#

This operation is used to manage the possible unit conversion factors for a Product.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Product exists and is Active.

Sequence of Steps#

Navigate to the Unit Conversion Factors section in the Contexts Product page and press the and buttons to access the configuration wizard:

Step 1: Manage Unit Conversion Factors#

  1. Specify as many allowed unit conversion factors as necessary (using the and buttons on the grid to add and remove rows), providing for each one:

    • The From Unit
    • The To Unit
    • The Conversion Factor to convert one unit of the From unit into the To unit

  2. Press Update to complete the transaction.
