# Cancel Production Order

## Overview

This operation is used to cancel a **Production Order**. A canceled **Production Order** is terminated automatically.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Production Order** is active and it is not in the state *Closed*.

## Sequence of Steps

This screen captures all the information necessary to complete the operation.

1. Optionally, review the **Production Order** details by expanding the **Production Order** section.
2. Press **Cancel** to complete the operation.
