Change Product and Quantity#

Overview#

This operation is used to change the Product and/or the quantity of a Production Order.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Production Order must be active and must not be in the state Created or Closed.
  • If changing the Product, the Production Order delivery quantity must be zero.
  • If changing the Product and the Production Order has the property Validate material products set, all existing Production Order Materials must have a Product that belongs to the Production Order Product reverse Sub-Product tree.
  • If changing the quantity, the new quantity must be greater than zero.

Sequence of Steps#

This screen captures all the information necessary to complete the operation.

  1. Optionally, review the Production Order details by expanding the Production Order section.
  2. Optionally, specify a new Production Order Product.

  3. Optionally, specify a new Production Order quantity.

    Info

    Information on the Product Yield (in percentage) as well as the Yield Adjusted Quantity will be displayed on screen.

  4. Press Change to complete the operation.
