Edit Production Order#

Overview#

This operation is used to Edit a Production Order.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Production Order exists in the system.

Sequence of Steps#

The Edit Production Order wizard can be called from the Production Order page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: General Data#

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

The Name of the Production Order cannot be altered.

âš  Two separate scenarios are considered when changing the Under Delivery Tolerance property:

  • When the Production Order is Released or In Progress and if the Completed Quantity is equal or higher to \(Production\ Quantity \times (1 - UnderDelivery)\):

    • The Production Order is set to Completed
    • If the Production Order has the property RestrictOnCompletion, the Production Order is also marked as Restricted

  • When the Production Order is Completed and if the Completed Quantity is lower than \(Production\ Quantity \times (1 - UnderDelivery)\):

    • The Production Order is set to In Progress
