# Edit Production Order

## Overview

This operation is used to Edit a **Production Order**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Production Order** exists in the system.

## Sequence of Steps

The Edit Production Order wizard can be called from the **Production Order** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: General Data

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

The `Name` of the **Production Order** cannot be altered.

:warning: Two separate scenarios are considered when changing the Under Delivery Tolerance property:

* When the **Production Order** is Released or In Progress and if the Completed Quantity is equal or higher to $Production\ Quantity \times (1 - UnderDelivery)$:
    * The **Production Order** is set to Completed
    * If the **Production Order** has the property `RestrictOnCompletion`, the **Production Order** is also marked as Restricted

* When the **Production Order** is Completed and if the Completed Quantity is lower than $Production\ Quantity \times (1 - UnderDelivery)$:
    * The **Production Order** is set to In Progress
