Manage Production Order Steps#

Overview#

This operation to manage the Production Order Steps defined for a Production Order.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The Production Order must exist, must be Active and in state Created, Released, InProgress, Completed.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1: Production Order Items#

1. Select an appropriate Production Order, navigate to the Production Order Steps section and select Manage Production Order Steps.

2. Add as many Production Order Items as you need (select in the top right of the grid to add and to remove). You need to specify at least one item and for each item provide the following information:

   • Name
   • Intended Quantity

   

3. Select Next to continue.

Step 2: Production Order Steps#

1. For each of the Production Order Items added in the previous step, add as many Production Order Steps as needed (select in the top right of the grid to add, and to remove). You can order the entries with the and arrows, review the information already provided (Production Order Item, Quantity, Production Order Step Name and Item Order) and provide the following information for each Production Order Step:

   • The Facility where the fulfillment of the Prodution Order will take place.
   • The Flow Path associated to the fulfillment of the Prodution Order.
   • The Primary Quantity for the Material that will be created for this Production Order Step.
   • The Primary Units for the Material that will be created for this Production Order Step.

2. Select Update to complete the operation and update the Production Order.
