Protocol Instance Page#

🔒 ProtocolInstance.Show

Through the Quality main tab you can select the button Protocol Instances and access the list of all active Protocol Instances. From there, you can:

  • Open a new Protocol Instance; in this case, you need to specify which protocol you want to consider.
  • Access any Protocol Instance on the list by clicking on the respective name.
  • Change the view from All to My Protocols to be able to see the list of Protocol Instances of which you are the Owner.
  • Use Advanced to search and have access to more filtering options.

For each of the available Protocol Instances, by accessing the Views button at the top right-hand side of the screen you can access different views, in which you can see and perform several operations.

Details View#

In this view, you can see generic information regarding the Protocol Instance, specifically:

  • Details - displays general information on the Plan.
  • Materials - the list of materials that are associated with the Protocol Instance.
  • Tasks - a task or list of tasks to be performed within a Protocol Instance. The protocol can only be closed after all its tasks have been completed or canceled.
  • Related Protocol Instances and the possibility to add any two related Protocol Instances.

Execution View#

This is the default view. This view is focused on what needs to be performed at the each Protocol Instance state. On the left-hand side bar, you can verify the past states and the current state. By selecting a state, you can see its concerning checklists, parameters and notes.

By expanding each item, you can view what is subject to being inputted and all the information that has already been input.

On the right-hand side, you can find generic information regarding the protocol instance: list of associated materials, tasks created so far, context and all documents attached.

If the Scope of the Protocol is Material Deviation, the Execution View of the Protocol Instance will have additional operations available on the top ribbon:

Flowchart View#

Based on the flowchart previously defined at the Protocol level, this view mode provides a global perspective of all states and of the flow that connects them.

In this view mode, it is easy to verify the status of this Protocol Instance. The states in green are Done, the current state is highlighted in blue, and the ones that are colorless are the ones still left to close the Protocol Instance.

Similar to the Execution view, on the right-hand side bar, you can find generic information regarding the Protocol Instance:

  • List of associated materials.
  • Tasks created.
  • Context details.
  • Documents attached.

Protocol_Flowchart_View

Note

The information in this view mode is just for visualization purposes. All the actions can be performed through the buttons in the top bar.
