# Enable Recipe

## Overview

This operation is used to enable a **Recipe**, allowing it to be used in MES, since a disabled **Recipe** cannot be used to create a **Recipe** instance.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Recipe** exists in the system.
* The **Recipe** is disabled in the system.

## Sequence of Steps

The Enable Recipe wizard can be called from the **Recipe** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: Enable Recipe

1. Press **Enable** to enable the **Recipe**.
