Create Resource Job#

Overview#
In order to create a Schedule, select New from the Schedule Entity Type page. A template can also be created using a similar procedure and there is also the possibility of using a template to create the new object as well. This selection can be done in the main entity menu.
Setup#
No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.
Preconditions#
- The Resource Job name must be provided and must be unique.
Sequence of Steps#
You can create a Resource Job from the Resource Job entity in the Business Data menu by selecting the New button. After starting the wizard, the system will allow you to configure the new entity through a number of steps.
Step 1: General Data#
- Enter a name for the Resource Job.
- Optionally, enter a description.
- Select a Resource.
- Select a Type from the ResourceJobType Lookup Table.
- Optionally, select a Sub Type for the Resource Job.
- Define whether the initial System State is either Created (default) or Queued.
- Optionally, select the selection mode. There are three possible selection modes:
- Step
- Flow Path
- Flow Logical Path
- Optionally, define the Priority of the Resource Job.
- Optionally, define the Progress of the Resource Job.
- Optionally, define the Equipment Job Id.
- Optionally, define the Job Information.
Step 2: Materials#
In this wizard, you may add or remove Resource Job Materials. For each item in the list, specify:
- Select the Material.
- Optionally, choose the Step.
- Optionally, define the Material Quantity.
- Optionally, define the Units.
- Optionally, define the Process Job Id.
- Optionally, define the Start Date.
- Optionally, define the End Date.
- Optionally, select a Recipe.
- Optionally, select a Recipe Instance.
- Optionally, define the Process Job Information.
Note
If the Resource Job State is Executing, it will not be possible to add or remove Resource Job Materials; it will only be possible to modify the Process Id.
Step 3: Containers#
In this wizard, you may add or remove Resource Job Containers. For each item in the list, specify:
- Select the Container.
- Optionally, define the Start Date.
- Optionally, define the End Date.
