# Edit Resource Job

## Overview

This operation is used to Edit a **Resource Job**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Resource Job** exists in the system.

## Sequence of Steps

The Edit Resource Job wizard can be called from the **Resource Job** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: General Data

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

Only the Name of the **Resource Job** cannot be altered.

### Step 2: Materials

In this wizard, you can add, update, or remove Resource Job Materials by selecting the :material-plus: or :material-trash-can: icons, respectively.

### Step 3: Containers

In this wizard, you can add, update, or remove Resource Job Containers by selecting the :material-plus: or :material-trash-can: icons, respectively.
