Manage Resource Inventory#
Resource.ManageInventory
Overview#
This operation is used to manage the current Resource inventory and define automatic replenishments.
Setup#
No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.
Preconditions#
- The Resource must be active.
- The Resource Enable Automatic Replenishment property must be set to
true.
Sequence of Steps#
Step 1: Inventory Details#
Navigating to the Inventory section on the right hand side of the screen will scroll the page to the appropriate section and the Manage Resource Inventory wizard can be opened by selecting the Manage button.

Add as many Inventories as desired, providing for each line:
- The Product name (description and available quantity at the Resource quantity will be displayed automatically. Requested Quantity - quantity that has been requested already and is on the way - will also be displayed);
- Reorder Mode (Automatic or None);
- Reorder Point - if the Reorder Mode is set to Automatic, when the available quantity reaches this point will trigger a Material reorder.
- Reorder Quantity - amount to reorder if Reorder Mode is Automatic and the Reorder Point is reached
- Target Inventory - when reordering material, the system will use multiples of the Reorder Quantity to meet the Target Inventory.
- Units - units of the Product at the Resource

Select Update to complete the operation.
Note
If Enable Automatic Replenishment is true, and the Replenish Mode is Consumable Feed, you cannot add new rows or edit the Location and Position properties. Additionally, you can only delete Inventory rows when the Quantity is zero.
