# Manage Structure

## Overview

This operation is used to manage the Resource's structure with regards to Parent Resources and Sub-Resources.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The Resource exists and is Active in the system.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Manage Resource Structure

1. Optionally, add Parent resources. Only resources of processing type *Component* can have multiple parents.
2. Optionally, add sub-resources (not possible for Resources of processing type ConsumableFeed or LoadPort).

3. Confirm the details of the Parent and Sub-Resources and select **Update** to complete the operation.
