# Retrieve Resource

## Overview

This operation is used to retrieve a **Resource** from a storage **Resource**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Resource** exists and is active.
* The **Resource** is *In Store*.

## Sequence of Steps

1. Press the *Retrieve* button on the top ribbon.
2. Check the information on the **Resource** and the information of the storage **Resource**.
3. Press **Retrieve** to complete the transaction.
