# Store Resource

## Overview

This operation is used to store a **Resource** in a storage **Resource**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The Storage **Resource** where the **Resources** will be stored exists and it is Active.
* The Storage **Resource** where the **Resources** will be stored is of ProcessingType *Storage* and the Position Unit Type is *Resource*
* All **Resources** to be stored in the Storage **Resource** are Active
* The **Resource** to be stored is of ProcessingType *Component*, *Instrument*, *Process* or *Consumable Feed* and are in the same Facility as the **Resource**.
* The Storage **Resource** must have free positions.
* All **Resources** to be stored in the Storage **Resource** are not already stored.

## Sequence of Steps

1. Press the *Store* button on the top ribbon of the **Resource**.
2. Select the storage **Resource** where the **Resource** will be stored.
3. Depending on the **Resource** *Track Positions* property, it may be necessary to provide a valid position. Note that in this case the provided position address must be compliant with the defined **Resource** position address format.
4. Press **Store** to complete the transaction.
