# Disable Service

## Overview

This operation is used to disable a **Service**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Service** exists in the system.
* The **Service** is enabled in the system.

## Sequence of Steps

The Disable Service wizard can be called from the **Service** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: Disable Service

1. Press **Disable** to disable the **Service**.
