Edit Shift Logbook Entry#

ShiftLogbook.EditEntry

Overview#

This operation is used to edit an entry of the Shift Logbook.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

• The current user is the author of the entry.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1#

1. Select an existing entry and press the Edit Entry button.
2. Optionally, edit the title of the entry.
3. Optionally, change the Category (values are taken from the lookup table ShiftLogbookEntryCategory), the Severity (values taken from the generic table ShiftLogbookEntrySeverity) and the Resource relating to the Area and to this specific Entry.
4. Edit the description of the Entry - it is possible to use Rich-Text Format (RTF) by selecting the text and right-clicking on it.
5. Press Update to complete the transaction.
