A template can also be created using a similar procedure and there is also the possibility of using a template to create the new object as well. This selection can be done in the main entity menu. ## Setup No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction. ## Preconditions * The **Sort Rule Set** does not currently exist in the system. ## Sequence of Steps ### Step 1: General Data 1. Provide a name for the **Sort Rule Set**. 2. Optionally, provide a description of the **Sort Rule Set**. 3. Select the **Sort Rule Set** type. The list of possible values is taken from the lookup table *SortRuleSetType*. 4. Select scope: * **Material** - for *Get Resource List For Material*. * **Resource** - for *Get Material List For Resource* and *Get Material List for Step*. !!! info The **Material** sort rules always have an implicit sort rule that gives more priority to Hot Materials. ![create_sort_rule_set_step_one][create_sort_rule_set_step_one] ### Step 2: Sort Rules 1. Add as many **Sort Rules** as needed, specifying: * Sort Rule * Sorting Direction - Ascending or Descending !!! info Use the Up and Down buttons to change the order of the Sort Rules.
