# Take Transfer Order Ownership

## Overview

This operation is used to take ownership (responsibility) for picking the **Transfer Order**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions.

## Preconditions

* The **Transfer Order** must be Active.
* The **Transfer Order** system state must be *Open* or *In Progress*.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1

1. Review the **Transfer Order** item information.
2. Press the **Take Ownership** button to complete the operation.
