# Manage Transfer Requirement

## Overview

This operation is used to Manage a **Transfer Requirement**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Transfer Requirement** exists in the system and is Active.
* The **Transfer Requirement** system state must be Requested.

## Sequence of Steps

The Manage Transfer Requirement wizard can be called from the **Transfer Requirement** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: General Data

1. Select the **Items** section in the **Transfer Requirement** page.
2. Select **Manage** to call the Manage Transfer Requirement wizard.
3. Add as many entries as you need (select :material-plus: in the top right of the grid to add and :material-trash-can: to remove). You need to specify at least one item and for each item provide the following information:
    * Product (name)
    * Product Description
    * Requested Quantity
    * Units (from the `Units` Lookup table)
    * Requesting Existing Material (Advanced Options)
    * Requested Material (Advanced Options)
4. Optionally, enter a comment.
5. Select **Update** to complete the operation.
