Package Contents Report (New Design)#

Overview#

The Package Contents Report provides a hierarchical view of a package and all nested packages it contains. It displays key information such as package identifiers, quantities, products, and material composition. This Stimulsoft report can be accessed through the Business Intelligence tab, under the Material Logistics folder.

Data Source#

The report uses data from the ODS (Operational Data Store) database, accessed through the following data sets:

Table of Contents#

Optionally, you can choose to show the table of contents on the first page of the report. The table of contents lists the Package name, the Package type, and the Package level.

Table of Contents

The report header is divided into two sections:

Left Section#

  • Package Name - The display name of the selected Package.
  • Package Type - The Package type as stored in the PackageType Lookup table.
  • Package Level - The hierarchy level of the Package within the overall packaging structure.

Right Section#

  • Total Package Quantity - Total number of Packages at the selected level.
  • Total Packed Quantity - Aggregated quantity of all Materials contained within the Package and its Sub-Packages.
  • Total Weight - Combined weight of the Package and all nested Packages.

Fields#

The report displays different fields depending on the Package’s hierarchy level.

Level 1#

For Packages at level 1, the report includes:

  • Package ID - Unique identifier of the Package (visible only for trackable Packages).
  • Package Quantity - Amount of Packages (visible only for non-trackable Packages).
  • Packed Quantity - Total amount of Materials packed inside the Package.
  • Material - List of Materials included in the Package.

Level 2 or Above#

For Packages of level 2 or higher, the following information is displayed:

  • Package - Name of the Package.
  • Package Quantity - Number of Packages at this level.
  • Product - Product associated with the Package, including revision or version information.
  • Product Description - Description of the Product associated with the Package.
