Material Volume and Yield DWH#

Description#

  • This report provides information regarding volume and yield for a defined period of time. A Pareto Chart per Step can generated as well

Data Source#

  • DWH Database

Assumptions#

  • Calendar Days must have been generated for the Calendars of the relevant Areas

Filters#

  • Facility - Multi value filter on facilities
  • Area - Multi value filter on Areas (restricted by the Facility filter)
  • Step - Multi value filter on Steps (restricted by the Facility and Area filters)
  • Step Type - Multi value filter on Step Types
  • Product Group - Multi value filter on Product Groups
  • Product - Multi value filter on Products
  • Type - Multi value filter on Material Types
  • Units - Multi value filter on Units
  • Form - Multi value filter on Material Forms
  • Shift - Multi value filter on Shifts (restricted by Area)
  • Date Start - defines the start time threshold filter for material's queued date and time at a step (date in DWH is set based on the end time of the material's operation which moved the material into the state in a step)
  • Date End - defines the end time threshold filter for material's queued date and time at a step (date in DWH is set based on the end time of the material's operation which moved the material into the state in a step)
  • Expand All Items - true or false
  • Show Chart - true or false

Fields#

  • Material.Units
  • Material.Facility
  • Material.Area
  • Material.Step
  • Material.Product
  • Material.Type
  • Material.Form

Quantities are aggregated per units regardless of being primary or secondary (e.g. Product A can have a primary unit KG and Product B secondary unit Kg, both will be considered).

  • Quantity In - the quantity (own + submaterials) of the Material which entered a Step, which can result from a Create Material, Split Material, Expand Material, Move Next Material, Special Move Next Material, Receive Material, Rework Material or Change Material Flow and Step.
  • Quantity Out - the quantity (own + submaterials) of the Material which left the Step, which can result from a Move Next Material, Special Move Next Material, Receive Material, Rework Material or Change Material Flow and Step. The Quantity Out is equal to the Quantity In, minus the Losses and plus the Bonuses.
  • Loss Quantity Absolute - can be calculated for a period of time with the sum of all losses minus the sum of all bonuses, that is, the Material TrackIn Quantity minus the current Material Quantity at TrackOut. Note that it can be negative in case of bonuses. The aggregation of Loss Quantity Absolute is a simple sum.
  • Quantity Processed - equals the Material.TrackInQuantity at TrackOut.
  • Yield - is calculated as \(\frac{Material\ Quantity}{Material\ TrackInQuantity}\) at TrackOut. If Material TrackInQuantity is zero, the YieldPercentage is 100%. The aggregation of YieldPercentage is equal to \(100\% - \frac{\sum(Material\ TrackInQuantity) - \sum (Material\ Quantity)}{\sum(Material\ TrackInQuantity)}\) at TrackOut. Again, if \(\sum(Material\ TrackInQuantity)\) is zero, the Yield Percentage is equal to 100%.
