Edit Asset Directory#

Overview#

This operation is used to edit an Asset Directory.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The IoT Data Platform module is properly licensed in the system.
  • The Asset Directory exists in the system.

Sequence of Steps#

The Edit Asset Directory wizard can be called from the Asset Directory page within the Data Platform menu.

Step 1: General Data#

  1. Select the Asset Directory from the dropdown box on the left side of the screen.
  2. Select the Edit button on the top ribbon.
  3. After performing the necessary changes, select Save to complete the operation.

Info

The Name of the Asset Directory cannot be altered. All other non-system properties can be altered.
