# Protocol Instances

:lock: Quality.**ProtocolInstances**

The **Protocol Instances** page presents two summary views of the **Protocol Instances** that exist in the system:

* **All** - displays all the **Protocol Instances** that exist and are active and whose system state is Open.
* **My Protocols** - displays a list of the existing active **Protocol Instances** where you are listed as the owner.

In the **Protocol Instances Page**, it is possible to filter **Protocol Instances** by:

* Scope
* Protocol
* Creation Date From
* Creation Date Until
* Using the Search field (enter full or partial name of **Protocol Instance**)

The **Advanced** button will open a new window where you can filter **Protocol Instances** by different criteria (use the available dropdown options):

Additionally, you can combine multiple filters and define multiple criteria for your search. Select the vertical three-dots, select the option **Add Filter**, and a new filtering field will be displayed:

If you want to open or edit a **Protocol Instance** from this page, select the **Open Instance** button on the top ribbon:

This will open a new window where you have access to all the properties of the protocol you select on that page:
